Confused Weather

This weather has been quite a ride this past week. I can never tell if its going to be cold, warm, rainy, windy, and the list could go on. Right now it is literally a little bit of everything, and it has left me with somewhat of a little bug. I’m probably also feeling under the weather from all the work I have been doing, but I love my job, and doing what you love is fun, rain or shine. I hope all of you are having a beautiful week and getting excited for the summer. I sure am giddy with anticipation for Summer 2013, it is going to be a wild and fun ride :)

Style Crush: Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie has been my most recent fashion crush. I remember her days with Paris Hilton, but I think she has really transformed over the years. I love her mix of 60′s and 70′s style pieces with a little hip hop and grunge. Nicole constantly wears classic pieces and pulls them off as transformable wear, whether it is day or night. Enjoy!

That Awkward Moment

Yah, Yah, Yah!! First outfit post in almost a year. I really need to refrain from taking these long breaks from my blog.

So Summer is practically here in Los Angeles, and I love it except my condition really isn’t prepared just yet. I have been working like a mad woman, but lucky for all of you I have a twitter account so go follow me @KeelanKeff! I’m trying to incorporate all my other social media to my blog as we speak, so hopefully by the end of the weekend you can follow me in every way you would like. Wishing you all a wonderful and warm weekend!

Weekend at the Races

Oh how I have missed my blog. The internet still does not work at my friends house, and its really getting difficult for me because my job is based on the internet. Anyways, I have been having a wonderful time with my best friend in the state of New York. I never knew how beautiful this state was until now, and I think I have another crush on another place. I feel as though I am cheating on Portland :/

This past weekend I went to the vintage races at Watkins Glen with my best friend and her family. I had an amazing time! I LOVE the sound of the races. It reminds me of my childhood. I am actually tempted to find a race car driver husband just so I can listen to the cars all the time. It was slightly embarrassed because I am pretty sure I looked like all the guys that were there, drooling over the outrageously beautiful cars. Vroom vroom.

My Favorite Place in L.A

I find that favorite places and L.A are not my mixture, but out of this big city, I have found one extremely special place to me. Its a house my father re-did for his good friends. I have known these people since I was a little girl, and consider them family in a weird way. The house is incredible especially because I remember what it looked like before my father changed it with magic. However there is one part of the house that literally leaves me breathless. Yes indeed the back yard. I also remember what the back yard used to look like, and boy has it changed for the extraordinary ahaha.

This is the one place in L.A where I can leave all my thoughts behind. I get immersed with the small jungle that it is, and worry about nothing. Of course a swim never hurts after getting lost in what feels like my personal oasis. Yesterday was a beautiful day every way.

Style Crush: Isabel Lucas

I really had no idea what this woman did, till I saw her in Transformers and put two and two together. Everything about her style is to die for. It can be a little hippy dippy at times, but I think she pulls off the 60′s and 70′s hippie look pretty well.

Griffith Park

Shirt: Vintage, Pants: American Eagle Outfitters, Shoes: Target, Bag: Urban Outfitters

This past weekend was really what I needed. I spent time with my parents, and we went to Griffith Park because I really wanted to see the Griffith Observatory. The Observatory was closed for 4 years for maintenance and what not, which is basically a long time. I feel bad for anyone that had it on their bucket list and couldn’t see it. I love astrology and astronomy, so it was refreshing being somewhere familiar. Unfortunately its the busiest place in L.A next to well everything in L.A I suppose hahaha. The views were to die for, and the building was beautiful, it was a really good and relaxing day.

I am going to be visiting a very old friend of mine in New York state in about a week and a half, which is crazy because I have not seen her in 4 years. This trip has got me thinking about a lot of things, which has left me in a very sentimental state. I decided to start writing letters to people I love and trying to visit as many places in L.A that I haven’t seen. This may all sound a bit strange, but I am trying to live life in the moment, and I am really content with everything in my life, even if I have lupus, and I am almost always broke, but everything feels like its exactly where I should be right now :) .

5 AM Walking the Dogs Attire

Shirt: Thrifted, Sweater: Victoria Secret Pink, Shorts: American Apparel Acid Wash Runner Shorts , Shoes: Target

I am trying to get back in the swing of things with my blog, but as you may have noticed with my blog, something always comes up :/ My computer literally died the other day so I am going to be doing massive posts all at once until I get all my stuff sorted out to buy a new one. Don’t fret, I am unusually calm about the whole situation. I feel really good about everything even if things are going crazy, and everything is always unpredictable, but I am happy and relaxed.

Back to things pertaining to my outfit hahaha, I was house sitting in Las Vegas for a couple of weeks and I had to walk two dogs, one of them being mine. Little did I know, both of these dogs were going to work together and wake up at 5 in the morning. Oh and they did it everyday for two weeks on the dot. Out of all the things that I walked out of the house wearing this happened to be my favorite. Have I mentioned how I am on an American Apparel obsession. Well now you know :)

Style Crush: Now Lets talk about Bob Dylan

Do I even need an explanation about this man….yah I did not think so. I grew up listening to his music, and about 5 years ago I fell enamored for his very minimal and serious style. Plus he has got banging hair.

Way Overdo

Shirt: Boutique, Shorts: Abercrombie & Fitch, Shoes: Born, Necklace: Ebay

I finally got my blog to start working again. It was working in other cities but not in mine ahaha, as weird as that sounds. A lot has been going on so I am going to keep this brief. I am starting to feel like there is way too much time in the day because so much weird stuff keeps popping up, and every time a new issue comes along it seems like time just moves backwards. Very uncomfortable feeling.

In Time Film fashion

I watched In Time the other day starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, and Cillian Murphy, and the movie was good, but I was really into the fashion. Who ever was the costume designer for the film, picked some really great pieces. Everything that Amanda Seyfried wore were very classic silhouettes. I also loved what the time watchers wore, a.k.a Cillian Murphy’s character and all of his associates.

Put a Blazer on it

I finally got my computer back…..Yah!! Now I need to transfer all my old hard drive stuff to my new one, oh boy ahaha. I have been in a fairly great mood lately. I feel like a lot of opportunities are coming my way right now, and I am feeling very productive. Also I started this ridiculously awesome book that is a major motion picture right now, Savages by Don Winslow. I bought it because well I am not the biggest fan of a lot of violence in movies, and wanted to see what I was getting myself into, but damn!! (Excuse my french) This book is soooo good! It is really funny in a dark comedic sense, with a lot of drugs, sex, and cutting off heads, but the writing is so witty and right on with the 21st century. Just go buy it…..NOW!!

Long Over Do

I have been trying to get  my stuff together. Its been kind of a set back now that I know that my computer’s hard drive is fried. I have to wait another week for it to be repaired, so I am feeling a little set back with this news. Other than that I have been busy, and catching up on things that I really needed to stop putting off.

Erin Wasson brings the style in country

Curtsy because it is girly

I am leaving Vegas this week, and it is a little bitter sweet. I want to go back to my life in L.A, but I wish I could bring the pool and my mom back with me ahaha.  I am not too sad about it because I will be back in a few weeks, so that is always something to look forward to.

As for these pictures, I am sure all of you have caught on to my awkwardness in front of the camera. I am not very photogenic, and I get uncomfortable. I prefer being behind the camera and taking the pictures. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was simple and relaxing.
