This weather has been quite a ride this past week. I can never tell if its going to be cold, warm, rainy, windy, and the list could go on. Right now it is literally a little bit of everything, and it has left me with somewhat of a little bug. I’m probably also feeling under the weather from all the work I have been doing, but I love my job, and doing what you love is fun, rain or shine. Nicole Richie has been my most recent fashion crush. I remember her days with Paris Hilton, but I think she has really transformed over the years. I love her mix of 60′s and 70′s style pieces with a little hip hop and grunge. Nicole constantly wears classic pieces and pulls them off as transformable wear, whether it is day or night. Enjoy!

I could possibly be the worst blogger known to man. Last time I posted on here, I was in New York in a small town outside of Buffalo. A lot has changed since than and I am back in my original stomping grounds. I just celebrated my 23rd birthday and 2013 has been exceptionally beautiful even with the slight hiccups. It’s slightly crazy how so much can change in less than a year, and I feel as though I have grown so much. I have gotten back in the swing of things being back in L.A. Work has taken over my life again, but I love it, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I also have really missed my blog and it is a priority for me to keep going with it. I have received a lot of comments since I stopped, asking me to come back. Whether my old readers come back, I thank you all for your support.

So, welcome back to my blog! I am excited to post about everything that has been going on with my life these days. Lets just say there is never a dull moment. For instance, I became friends with a possum on my front yard, well I wish I became friends with it. Unfortunately it was dying, but I let it pass away slowly in peace on my front door way entrance. I am also attempting at writing a book; we will see how that goes. Lastly, work has been a whirl wind, but I am excited for everything that’s coming up. I love vegan food, and recently started the juicing thing for my health. Ok I think I have babbled quite enough. So please look forward to more posts. I won’t be just focusing on fashion, I am going to be doing plenty more which I hope all of you enjoy

Before I confuse any of you, my previous post about me being happy still stands, I am just still struggling with my lupus. I also haven’t taken any pictures of my outfits, which I feel really guilty about. In due time I will get all my stuff organized. I am in the process of helping everyone get organized in Buffalo, New York believe it or not. I am going to let the photos speak for themselves. Last week I drew a heart on the calendar for this date. I really did not know why I did it, but 12 is a very balanced number in my life, kind of like ying and yang, black and white, up and down, you get the gist of it. I am happy I did, because today I finally realized that I love myself for once in a very long time. I don’t think I ever knew how to love myself without someone else telling me that they loved me. At this very moment in my life everything is perfect. I wish I knew how to explain it, but I think it just has to happen, you just have to experience it for yourself. I am not clouded by worry, or fear, or anger, I am just me and happy. The best part, this happiness and love wasn’t born from a relationship, or a physical possession, or anything really, ok well nature did help a little, but it was the right moment with the right peace of mind. I needed to share this with someone or anybody really, because when you are truly happy you want the world to know. So I am happy to admit that for once since I was probably a little girl, I am happy and I love myself, and accomplished it on my own, with the help of a very interesting life.

I love this film! Yes, the 1996 version with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. The imagery and play on colors is really exquisite, especially that scene when Romeo is sitting on the beach writing, the lighting was…..GAHHH! Need I remind you of how utterly perfect the soundtrack is. I still get the goosebumps just thinking about Talkshow Host by Radiohead. Now as for the story itself, young teenage love is obviously dangerous. Love makes you do crazy things, but poison and guns…….hmmmmm.

Oh how I have missed my blog. The internet still does not work at my friends house, and its really getting difficult for me because my job is based on the internet. Anyways, I have been having a wonderful time with my best friend in the state of New York. I never knew how beautiful this state was until now, and I think I have another crush on another place. I feel as though I am cheating on Portland :/

This past weekend I went to the vintage races at Watkins Glen with my best friend and her family. I had an amazing time! I LOVE the sound of the races. It reminds me of my childhood. I am actually tempted to find a race car driver husband just so I can listen to the cars all the time. It was slightly embarrassed because I am pretty sure I looked like all the guys that were there, drooling over the outrageously beautiful cars. Vroom vroom.

Yes, I am still alive. I have just been a little lost in the nature that is surrounding me at my friends house. Recently I have been running up and down these steep flight of stairs to stay in shape. The best part about doing this painful exercise routine is at the bottom is Lake Eerie, and the breeze and view is phenomenal. It is exactly what I have been needing these days, to just get lost in something bigger than my problems.

I find that favorite places and L.A are not my mixture, but out of this big city, I have found one extremely special place to me. Its a house my father re-did for his good friends. I have known these people since I was a little girl, and consider them family in a weird way. The house is incredible especially because I remember what it looked like before my father changed it with magic. However there is one part of the house that literally leaves me breathless. Yes indeed the back yard. I also remember what the back yard used to look like, and boy has it changed for the extraordinary ahaha.

This is the one place in L.A where I can leave all my thoughts behind. I get immersed with the small jungle that it is, and worry about nothing. Of course a swim never hurts after getting lost in what feels like my personal oasis. Yesterday was a beautiful day every way.

I really had no idea what this woman did, till I saw her in Transformers and put two and two together. Everything about her style is to die for. It can be a little hippy dippy at times, but I think she pulls off the 60′s and 70′s hippie look pretty well.
